Billbooks & Associates has been representing publishers and manufacturers to the New England book trade for over 30 years. Originally founded in 1972 as Goldman & Associates, the company was renamed S&B Sales Associates in 1986 with the addition of new partner Bill Palizzolo. In 1999, the company was again renamed, this time under it's current name of billbooks & associates. The company's mission remains unchanged, however, to sell books and book related products to the book trade throughout New England.

Bill Palizzolo has been in the book business since 1977. He learned the business by owning and operating two bookstores in Massachusetts for eight years before becoming a sales rep with Goldman & Associates in 1986. Bill was recently named the New England Booksellers Association sales rep of the year for 2005. He covers Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and parts of Eastern Massachusetts.

Alan Spiegel worked for sixteen years in one of the leading independent bookstores in New England. He performed just about every bookstore function, including buying, merchandising, and managing. He joined billbooks & associates in 2002. Alan covers Connecticut, Rhode Island, and most of Massachusetts.
